Hybrid Work Environment: 40% in-office and up to 60% work-from-home, if desired. Must live within commutable distance from our home office.

Job Summary

Under general supervision, uses knowledge and skills obtained through education, experience and/or, specialized training to coordinate all Mass Account Transfer (MAT) conversions. Partners with contra broker firms and branches to facilitate all internal and external conversion communications. Requires sound judgment and a high degree of decision making ability necessary to adapt procedures, processes and techniques to more complicated conversions. Limited guidance is provided to perform varied work that is somewhat difficult in character requiring evaluation, originality and ingenuity to make moderately complex decisions, process information in a timely manner, and operate within a team environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinates all MAT conversions and deconversions with onboarding client, contra broker dealer and various internal departments.

  • Manages all MAT activities for test and live events.

  • Works with Project Specialists and business areas to clean up mapping issues and data for all files.

  • Coordinates all conversion communications between Raymond James and other financial institutions.

  • Maintains the MAT Department web site.

  • Maintains documentation and communications surrounding all conversion and deconversion activities.

  • Consolidates and refines status reports into program level and senior management reports.

  • Coordinates and assists with mass Broker to Broker clean up.

  • Develops and summarizes the annual process report summaries.

  • Updates and sends invoices for conversion billing.

  • Operates the Command Center and provides updates as needed.

  • Shuts off systematic processes (Automated Clearing Hours (ACH), Periodic Investment Plan (PIP)/Systematic Withdrawal Plan (SWP), etc.).

  • Tracks negative consent letters.

  • Provides notification to applicable areas regarding the deconversion (Raymond James Bank, trading areas, etc.).

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of

  • Basic accounting concepts, practices and procedures.

  • General financial industry knowledge.

  • General office practices, procedures, and methods.

Skill in

  • Basic Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Visio.

  • Microsoft Server Management Studio.

  • Managing system and process changes and dealing with issues.

  • Gather and analyze complex information.

  • Preparing management reports.

  • Creating and maintaining documentation and communications.

  • Communicating clearly and informatively; presenting numerical data effectively.

  • Following policies and procedures; completing administrative tasks correctly and on time.

  • Demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness; applying feedback to improve performance.

  • Completing tasks on time or notifying appropriate person with an alternate plan.

  • Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications.

  • Collecting and researching data.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements

Education/Previous Experience

  • Associate’s Degree and a minimum of two (2) years of financial services industry experience, or a High School Diploma and a minimum of three (3) years of financial services industry experience required.

  • OR

  • Any equivalent combination of education, experience or training as approved by Human Resources.
